Job Overview:

The Global Sales and Service Training Manager is responsible for the development of the local procedures that pertain to global sales and service training. This role is also responsible for developing the Cardiac Assist sales training program (syllabus and content) for the Cardiac Assist product lines (current and future). This role will also be responsible for ensuring the service training program is developed with the relevant service training manager(s). This role will monitor and continuously improve the training procedure and program (content and delivery) on an ongoing basis and that they are released through the local quality management system. Lastly, this role will work with the global sales organizations to ensure that training programs are scheduled appropriately and that training certifications are updated as needed.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for sales and service training programs (85%)
  • Create, release and maintain all Cardiac Assist product training programs.
  • Identify and develop training materials for internal employees and external customers.
  • Oversee the creation, release, and maintenance of all Cardiac Assist service training programs.
  • Train and educate employees and distributors on all product training programs to achieve. prescribed standards of competence for; Basic,Qualified, Advanced and Train the trainer levels.
  • Create, release and maintain a method to ensure competence is maintained over time.
  • Perform in-person training and virtually (as applicable), while measuring training effectiveness.
  • Work with subject matter experts in the BA/CoE on content; apply developed knowledge and research into CoE programs to ensure effective and efficient training sessions.
  • Actively contribute as a member of the Cardiac Assist marketing team so that training is integrated into marketing priorities.
  • Work with GetLearning Support team to publish all training sessions as well as maintain all educational resources found in GetLearning (eLearning modules/videos).
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation demonstrating training provision, completion and follow-up.
  • Represent Cardiac Assist during Getinge Corporate Training programs and ACT CoE advisory board.
  • Maintain the standards of the Getinge/Cardiac Assist training program.

Responsible for training, management and development of all direct reports (15%)

  • Ensure direct reports compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify training requirements and training completion for direct reports.
  • Set a vision and goal for the team that aligns with the organizational goals.
  • Responsible for performance goal setting and metrics as well as professional development.
  • Manage employee work schedules, including PTO approval, attending trainings and professional conferences, expense reports, etc…
  • Prioritize the resources available to accomplish the objectives set for the team.
  • Manage expenses of direct reports in conjunction with total budgets for the training department

The candidate we seek must possess:

  • 5+ years field experience as CA Clinical Support Specialist or equivalent medical experience.
  • Must have experience and knowledge in education and training facilitation.
  • Must have advanced knowledge in Interventional Cardiology and/or Hemodynamic Support devices.
  • Must be familiar with utilizing e-learning training tools.
  • Must be a Licensed health care professional.
  • A clinical background in counter-pulsation preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree. MBA or advanced degree in relevant field preferred.
